Message I always leave the tranny in if I don't have a reason to pull it, dropping the crossmember will let the oil pan clear to move forward and let the pressure plate out of the bellhousing. It only takes 8 nuts and 1 bolt to drop the cross member.... with an impact wrench it only takes 10 minutes!
